Kitchen and Laundry Exhaust

More than 11,000 commercial kitchens are damaged by fire each year. The majority of restaurant fires originate on the kitchen cooking appliances and flare into the kitchen exhaust system. Regular maintenance of a restaurant’s kitchen exhaust system is one of the primary defenses against fire hazards. By keeping these systems working at their best, they will evacuate the smoke and grease out of the building and produce a cleaner, cooler kitchen and better working environment for staff.

When contracting for cleaning services, it is important to ensure you get a complete cleaning of your entire system. Some contractors offer a “hood cleaning” service which does not include the ductwork or rooftop fan. While such services may keep the interior of the kitchen looking sharp, they do little to secure fire safety and reduce health threats. Only a complete cleaning of the system —from the hood in the kitchen to the fan on the roof—will reduce the risk of kitchen fires and ensure compliance with fire regulations. Air Duct Services & Restoration distributes drip-loc products. Please call Air Duct Services & Restoration at (781) 356-8244 for a free estimate!

Just wanted to let you know how satisfied we are with your company and especially with Mike. He did an outstanding job and to look at his work you would never believe any restoration was done. He is an employee that represents your company to its highest standards. Your company made our disaster less stressful and we would refer your company to others without any hesitations. Thank you!

Our tennant called yesterday regarding the word done in his apartment. He said the guys, Mike S and Anthony were polite and professional and his overall experience with them was outstanding. He was blown away by how clean they left his apartment, making sure everything was put safely away and covered while working. He was shocked to come home and find everything put back exactly as it was prior to when the work was being done. He also said that while working there a light switch was broken and shocked to see it fixed. Mr. Chamberlin was very apprehensive about having the men in his apartment because of all of the horror stories he's heard from other people who have had work done in their homes while at work or away.
Today I completed a walk-through of the above referenced project that Air Duct Services & Restoration provided for us. From my observation, Air Duct Services & Restoration has fully accomplished what we contracted them to do.

In February, March and April of 2006, BMCA/Air Duct performed a complicated project at the Vermont Veterans Home in Bennington, Vermont. This project consisted of cleaning ductwork, air handling units, grills, coils, diffusers etc. throughout the older 143,000 square foot multi-wing nursing home facility. The facility was fully occupied and remained operational during their performance of the contract, which required strict coordination and attention to the needs of the staff and patients. The competitively bid contract amount was approximately $70,000. Air Duct did an excellent job and completed the work in a timely and professional manner. It was a pleasure to work with them, and the Home is very happy with their performance, flexibility, and professionalism. I would recommend Air Duct for any size project in any type of facility. This is the first time that State Buildings has used Air Duct and I look forward to working with them again in the future!
